League Cup Winners and League Runners-Up!
Blues bounced back to the 1st Division at the first attempt following relegation last season! Despite being runners-up to champions, Wythenshawe, they finished 6 points above 3rd placed Macclesfield Town LFC (Reserves).
The top two positions were reversed in the League Cup, which was played as a group whereby each team played each other once; Blues finishing at the top of the group, 4 points above Wythenshawe in 2nd place. The final between the two top teams in the Division was an enthralling encounter which went into extra-time and looked to be heading for a penalty shoot-out until a Rachael Evans strike in the dying seconds gave Blues a 4-3 win!
