Another decent season for HNR, 13 points from their opening 5 matches saw them lead the way at the top of Division 1, by Christmas they were 4 points behind leaders and eventual champions, Manchester University but with 2 games in hand, both teams having lost only once.
Unfortunately, 4 draws and 2 defeats in their final 6 matches consigned HNR to a final position of 5th.
The season will be remembered for the two league games with a young SCLFC Reserves side, with the honours ending even with a win each.
At the end of season Awards, Sue Walsh was the Players Player, the Manager's Player Award went to Karen Weeden with Carol Plant receiving the team award as Club Person of the season.
