The U18s are a new team for the club. Whilst the core of the team are last season's U16s, we have recruited quite a contingent of new players from Manchester City LFC. The pathway to the Reserves will be via the U18s as the emphasis for the club is development of our youth players.
The Cheshire Women's and Youth League is also new for season 2011/2012 as the Cheshire & Manchester WFL, as was, has now separated in line with The FA's blueprint for women's soccer with the set up of county leagues. The Manchester-based clubs will now be competing in a Manchester League.
